Southill Stables facilities for horse livery, stabling and grazing
Stabling and land
The stables are set in 22 acres of grazing, and has 22 boxes, 16 in the main yard and a further 6 boxes at the back of the main yard facing the car and lorry park, which has adequate parking.

Arena with floodlights
We have a 20m x 40m outdoor floodlit arena, the surface consists of sand, PVC and rubber, it has 500 metres of land drains and is rideable all year round.
The floodlights benefit those clients wishing to ride after work during the darker evenings.

Paddocks and grazing
The 22 acres of grazing are divided into 9 paddocks. All paddocks are fenced with Bayer Bayco plastic strand fencing, which is horse friendly and will stretch 25% of its length before breaking. An electric strand runs all around the top of the fencing. Paddocks are cleared of droppings throughout the spring, summer and autumn.
A minimum of six paddocks are rested during the winter months and are harrowed, rolled and top dressed in early spring to provide fresh lush grass for horses to be turned out on.

Wintering out
For those horses who are required to winter out, we have a six acre sheltered paddock with a large barn in which they can shelter from the weather and enjoy their feeds.
